Welcome to Episode #9 of the Frontiers Podcast! In this episode, we have a special video version that comes with some cool visuals from the app that I was talking about.
I believe one of the most critical things you can do is to create a personalised learning system (PLS).
Though the payoff is not immediate, but like growing a seed, the benefit is tremendous, especially if you value personal and professional development.
In this episode of Frontiers Radio, I take you down a road trip of my note-taking system, and why, after over 10 years, I’m now making a switch to an app call Obsidian.

Hi Daryl,
Thank you so much for this post and for recommending Obsidian.
I had known of Obsidian several months ago but was initially too intimidated to try it and had set it aside. However, your video and thoughtful / enthusiastic endorsement gave me the courage to review Obsidian again. And what a joy it has been!
After some initial hiccups, and thanks to Nick Milo’s YoutTube videos, I am on-board with Obsidian – and have been excitedly noting and linking my learning. It is so exciting that I look forward to everyday and find something new to learn and capture into Obsidian. I have been telling my wife that “Obsidian is God’s gift to learner’s” 🙂
And thanks to you for spurring me on. If it had not been for your consistent endorsement of having a Personal Learning System and your ringing endorsement of Obsidian, I would not be enjoying my learning as much I do now. I am seeing how much it has impacted my counselling practice.
God bless you for the good work you do, Daryl. Your reach, impact and influence as a teacher is profound. Thank you so much!
Glad you found it useful Vijay.
