This is because, in our default approach to supervision, therapists and supervisors spend the majority of time discussing “case-by-case” difficulties, or “stuck” cases. This is necessary, but not sufficient for development.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If a supervisor wants to help a therapist really develop and obtain better client results, they need to take that one extra step that will have leverage in improving their craft.<\/span><\/p>\n
